The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will convene its Fourth Cryptocurrency Roundtable on May 12, focusing on the tokenization of real-world assets. Scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at SEC headquarters, the event will explore blockchain-based digitization of equities, real estate, and other traditional assets.

Public access includes both physical attendance and a livestream via the SEC’s website. Regulatory clarity and investor protection in digital asset markets remain central themes, with the agency seeking to balance innovation with risk mitigation.
